Family man Elias Karo takes four journalist hostage at their newspaper’s headquarters, in a desperate attempt to get them to reveal the wrongdoing wreaked on his family during the 90's recession.

Having carried out a massive robbery, Karo continues his escape. Still haunted by the events of the 90s, a new crime is thrown into the mix: an even bigger goal to restore justice to the wronged. Criminal investigator Kolehmainen and NBI negotiator Kiiski are on Karo's trail. Journalist Hanna Raivio continues her investigation. Are Elias Karo's allegations true after all?
